This is the best place that I have been. The owner treats you like family, everything is home made, AND there is a cat for company! I loved this place and will definitely go back.
Best dim sum I've ever had! Great food made fresh! The superior quality is noticeable within the first bite. It felt like I was invited into someone's house for a nice home cooked meal. The owners were very friendly!
Basically like your friends mom cooked for you. The owners wife makes the food downstairs when you order it. Theyll make special fish dishes if you call them in advance. I loved the home-food experience but it might not be for someone whos expecting to dine at a formal restaurant.
Best food in town. Do not go there expecting a fancy dining experience. YC and his family are there to make good, fresh, authentic food. They also have several dim sum items available all day. Steamed sticky rice is one of my favorites.
I went there with my family to celebrate my graduation from university. My friend told me this place and I wanted to give it a try. On that day my parents drove a long way to Regina. We cherished the family reunion dinner and had lots to talk. However, the owner didnt allow us to do that...He didnt have other guests at that moment and I guess he just got bored. He was so insensitive that he just sat beside our table, kept interrupting our conversation, bluffing his business, showing off his knowledge to everything and NEVER left until we finished our meal! BTW He was in a shabby t-shirt, short pants and sandals. After knowing we were celebrating my graduation, he didnt even say a polite congratulations, instead, he started to bluff the degree he earned from a Chinese university. I honestly couldnt figure out what is wrong with this guy. We dont even know him, but it seems he automatically thought he was the most important member in our family reunion. Not to mention that his wife was working alone in the kitchen and serving us (and her husband) without any help. Super negative experience. Wont go back.
