Dear Regina Citizens, Please be aware the RPS ARE NOT PROVIDING THE SERVICES THEY CLAIM. They are aware of the recent rash of break-ins in the city, and encourage you to "be a good neighbour" and report unusual , suspicious activity. (see their June 1, 2018 post for this.)Our neighbour did exactly this and was on the phone with the RPS WHILE OUR HOME WAS BEING BROKEN INTO AND NOBODY RESPONDED. When my neighbour checked our home the following morning and found it had indeed been broken into, they placed another call to the Regina Police. UNBELIEBABLY 2 MORE CALLS TO THE RPS HAD TO BE MADE BEFORE ANYONE ARRIVED SOME 2 HOURS LATER. Evidently, the RPS are more focused on income generating and too "busy" burning through our hard earned tax dollars issuing seat belt tickets, window tint tickets, pretending to be homeless people, and riding the city bus to catch cell phone users than they are in protecting the citizens of this city. SHAME ON YOU REGINA POLICE!
What these people say about the police are probably the most wrong thing I've ever read on the internet. Nice to talk to no matter your race I don't know why people have to make it about race. Very gentle unless you break the law and are disrespectful, kinda says a lot about the people writing these reviews ;) Keep up the good work and don't let these people who are mad they got a speeding ticket upset you
Place is brutal anytime you walk in there. Its take a number and wait hoping you didnt forget anything. Cause if you did you have to come back waste more time waiting for your number to be called. You call there and they say they are busy mean while radar guns are out and our personal belongings are being broken in to. No point of reporting by the time anything gets done criminals are long gone, meanwhile your still waiting for your number to be called. Priorities now a days are brutal down there. Mays well be talking on your cell phone while driving in hope you can get pulled over and report items in a timely manner directly to an officer.Dont bother reporting incidents they wont show up. Criminals are picking up on this as well as they see a major advantage. It is getting worse and nothing being done in Regina and rual areas.
