Always a good place to shop but the produce .. potatoes were soft and looked so old & nectarines were so soft i couldn't pick them up without squashing them so we went to wholesale club same brand name potatoes lot better and cheaper
My favorite place to get groceries in the area. Food is good, staff at the deli and checkout are super friendly, selection on bread products is almost always quite good until it gets close to closing time. Layout feels a lot better than the other safe ways I have been to, and the checkout lanes have been manned quite well any time I have shopped. Pre-made sandwiches and meals have always been great to grab if you need food in a hurry, and having a Starbucks inside is a nice addition for those who want it.Only downside is there is the occasional local harassing people for money by the main doors, but that is not the stores fault and can be easily avoided by using the "cafe" doors just east of the entrance.
I go to another location for in store baking and cooked meats like chicken or meat loaf. These items are always over cooked and often burned at the Northgate location. Aside from that there is nothing outstanding about the store
