Very annoying being constantly profiled and followed around security while I decide what I want. Ill shop at Sobeys from now on. They are actually helpful!
Woman charged me $18 for 3 beers. I looked at the bill and saw that she charged $8 for a Coors. I told her it can't be right. She said she'll refund the $5 that she owes me, but needs my phone number first. I said 'no I don't give it out'. She then got rude and raised her voice to me. After typing a bogus number into the system see sarcastically said 'well can I get a signature'? YOU NEVER HAVE TO GIVE YOUR NAME, NUMBER OR ADDRESS WHEN BUYING THINGS. Most consumer affairs people will advise you not to. I give you money, you give me the product. If you over charge you give me the money back. If you don't understand what costumer service is, don't work with the public.
This SLGA store is located in a convenient location with free parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their collection of fancy ice wine is not very big though!
I used to live in the neighborhood so, when I purchased liquor, this is where I went, however now that I don't live in the vicinity anymore, I don't go here. They tend to get a transient crowd here so as a result, they keep extra security on hand, which is pretty indiscriminate about who they follow around and glare at. Staff is decent and helpful and the always have lots of booze on hand.
