Best selection and better prices than their privatized competition
Previously would have been 5* but Sobeys upped the bar. Now you need a large selection, lots of checkout isles and coolers! Can you believe you can go to a liquor store in Saskatchewan now and get your vast selection of beer - cold!?!? I know - previously unheard of right? Well thats not here.....yet. Its still largely the model of - heres a ton of beer in a section, stacked nearly - but warm as can be.The bonus here is the staff are always friendly and know their products - they care about doing a good job....they just need big walk in coolers now.
Im from North Dakota and I travel to Regina to deliver products on my Chevy Tahoe. I also come to this liquor store all the time, however the Indian fellow when I asked what his name was he showed me his name tag which said wazid this man was obnoxiously rude and was harassing me asking for my ID when I told him its in my truck and Ill get it in a second. He should not yell at me because I told him what hes doing is wrong. I demand a full investigation because you dont treat customers that way.
Nice store, good selection, prices kind of high compared to home. The reason for the one star rating is in a busy store with one security guard working he stood and watched us the whole time. Not a very pleasant experience
