The staff are awesome and the location is perfect. I am only a couple of blocks from Victoria park and the Regina folk festival. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Regina.
This hotel has smoking rooms and non smoking rooms available, a bar is located next to it called memories. They also have a free breakfast and wifi when you stay there. Housekeeping comes at 8 a.m. or you can request a later time and the staff is great and friendly. Rooms are affordable, mine was around $75 or 80 ( can't remember)
Staying at Quality Hotel Regina has been one of the worst experiences in my life. The biggest reason why I say this is because the lady in the dining room took the plate from which I was eating because she wasn't there when I was taking Scrambled Eggs. And then she puts back some of my eggs back into the serving container and then other people was served from it. I mean, who does that? Is there nothing called respect in that place? Other reason is that there was no parking in the hotel when we arrived. We al booked Quality Hotel because it has free parking and guess what? Another reason is that the rooms are old and messy. I should have taken the picture of the tub and the blanket. Anyhow, I recommend taking a sleeping bag and sleeping on the street rather than staying here.
I was visiting my dad in the evening who booked the hotel because he had surgery the next morning. Everything seemed pretty standard, clean room, firm bed, lots of pillows, gross coffee, and a TV which only had basic cable, so not even in HD. I did not stay over night here but I did have supper in the hotel restaurant and the food was really good. I ordered the cajun chicken burger and opted for the salad as a side. The burger was cooked to perfection and the salad had a house dressing which was interesting to say the least. Very good food, but a pretty standard room. I would definitely recommend it anyway even if it didn't have the restaurant because it seemed pretty well kept for the short time I spent visiting.
It was pretty good. The beds were short and I'm only 5'11. It was fairly clean. The continental breakfast was actually really good and it was complimentary. You had your choice of hot: waffles 1 egg and 2 pieces of back bacon. White or brown toast and English muffin. Apple and orange juice. Coffee tea. 4 kinds of cereal and a small Danish. It was good. The lounge had a good selection of beer and food. The stay for 1 night and breakfast included. $65.00. Valu wise very good. I would reccomend it.
